A Day In Zion National Park

A Day in Zion National Park

The last time I was in Utah was in November 2005 and I had no idea that Arches National Park was even a thing, let alone the insane wonder of it all. This time we went to Zion National Park and it was a whole separate level of awesome. We hiked the Grotto Trail to a giant frozen icicle waterfall, then 3/4 of the way up endless switchbacks of Angel’s Landing before reaching a snowy impass, and then down the Zion-Mount Carmel Highway through the tunnel to the Overlook and Checkerboard Mesa. I could spend weeks there camping and exploring things more in depth, but we had to get back to town for a family feast!
