Eastern Sierras Hot Springs

Eastern Sierras Hot Springs

Next time you’re in Mammoth Lakes, head about 10 miles south of town to Benton Crossing Road, where you can find more hot springs than you’ll know what to do with! Our best bet for finding relatively empty pools was hitting them fairly early in the morning or mid-day while people are still snowboarding. Hilltop is easiest to find right off of the road and only has room for about 4 people comfortably, 6 people max. Wild Willy’s is a little farther to get to & has a larger pool, so it might be a better bet if there’s a crowd at Hilltop. Last I heard the Crab Cooker spring is out of commission… enjoy!
