Villa Ondine – Kommetjie, SA

We planned for a little R&R at the end of the trip and found the most incredible deal ever on a 4 bedroom house in Kommetjie with an infinity pool, a maid, a fireplace, a terrace with a lovely dining table, a shower overlooking the ocean, and a stairway that leads you straight to the beach. Mind. Blown.

It was a perfect basecamp for exploring The Cape of Good Hope/Cape Point, giving us a jump on the journey by starting in Kommetjie compared to people driving down from Cape Town. We even got to stop into the Hub Cafe in Scarborough a few times for coffee and lunch, such a charming spot!

There are 3 restaurants close to the house – technically walking distance, but we opted to drive – The Lighthouse Pub, The Green Room and Fisherman’s Pub. We ended up going to Fisherman’s all three nights because their seafood was amazing, cheap and the bartenders were all really great to chat with.

Villa Ondine has it all! Bring friends and live it up on the beach in Kommetjie!
