Hiking the Convict Lake Loop

This year for Thanksgiving we decided to #OptOutside and went up to the Mammoth Lakes/Bishop area to do some hiking. Since it was cold and a lot of the higher mountain passes were already closed for the winter, we started off with a mellow hike around Convict Lake. The hike is a pretty easy 2.5 mile loop that has stunning scenery everywhere you look! There are branches off of the loop that go up to higher elevation trails if you’re feeling adventurous but I haven’t explored those yet. Next time!
