At a Fête in Aix En Provence
I basically decided to go to Aix-en-Provence based solely on some Decemberists lyrics.

Parc Guell – Barcelona, Spain
9/10 of my desire to go to Barcelona was to go to Parc Guell and wander in the whimsical dreamscape created by Antoni Gaudi, so we beelined straight from Monasterio de Piedra to the park. Monasterio de Piedra – Zaragoza, Spain

Founded in 1194 and now a national monument, Monasterio de Piedra seemed like a quirky way to settle into a new country – sleeping in rooms occupied by Cistercian monks for hundreds of years.
Safari Style
A couple safari-inspired furnishings that make me want to decorate the house!
